20th March 2016 - Video Jam at FACT, in association with FACT and Bido Lito
We were commissioned by FACT (Foundation for Art and Technology) in Liverpool to curate an event in response to unfold; a new immersive audio/visual installation by Japanese artist Ryoichi Kurokawa. The programme featured short films with newly commissioned live scores by local and international artists, expanding on themes, ideas and images contained within unfold such as synaesthesia, and the birth and evolution of stars. 'Innovative’ is often a word ascribed to Ryoichi's practice, and as such our event was an attempt to explore what to be innovative means, and how else it might look and sound.
